Daffi

Dear parents/carers,
Shwmae, your child has been chosen to take home Daffi our school’s welsh
speaking dragon.
Daffi’s role is to help encourage children to speak more welsh in school and
at home and we need your help! When at home could you please promote as much welsh as
possible. Some welsh sentences you can use are:

We think it is very important to learn and speak welsh as it gives us a sense of belonging to our culture and community.
In this book, your child, parent or carer can write a few sentences and draw/add in some pictures about Daffi’s time at your home and how much welsh you have used. Please return Daffi to school by the following Monday.
Thank you always for your continuous support.
Diolch yn fawr,
Criw Cymgraeg.
